There may be a Google Nexus 8 tablet in the works, according to a leaked piece of code.
A device with the model number LG V510 has been spotted in a leaked code from notorious tipster @evleaks, which could well be from a User Agent Profile.
Earlier this month, the LG V510 passed through Bluetooth certification, but was thought to be a variation of the LG G Pad 8.3.
However, this new code suggests the LG V510 might be an 8-inch Google tablet currently known as the Google Nexus 8.
The comment from @evleaks states: “The LG V510 tablet is indeed a Nexus device [via tip].”
Reading the code it states the LG V510 is an LG-made Google product, further strengthening the claims.
It may well be that the Google Nexus 8 bears strong similarities to the LG G Pad 8.3, which has the model number LG V500. The new Google Nexus 5 smartphone features very similar specs to the flagship LG G2, save some minor differences, so it wouldn’t be mad for the LG G Pad 8.3 to be the basis of an 8-inch Google slate.
